Well, what an astonishing result for Celta Vigo. They have come away from the Santiago Bernabeu with two valuable away goals and a win over Real Madrid. And they probably deserved it. They were the ones who looked most dangerous and they defended well. Zidane has some thinking to do.

FULL TIME: Real Madrid 1-2 Celta Vigo.

I think they call this Ramos time. The Real Madrid centre back comes up with so many important stoppage time goals, but the hosts haven't looked likely in the last 10 minutes or so.

Remember, just last week Real Madrid scored two late goals at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjaun against Sevilla to salvage a point. By that basis there's still time for them here.

Three minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the second half.

The final product has been missing from Real Madrid's play all night long. This time Benzema's cross is too strong and drifts over the head of at least four of his teammates.

Real Madrid aren't really helping themselves here. They are in the ear of the referee with every decision he makes. They need to forget that kind of thing and focus on creating another chance.

Real Madrid are still good enough to overturn a 2-1 deficit in Vigo, but they will be desperate for an equaliser to at least go there next week on level pegging. Poor display tonight.

Of course, Benzema was only just brought on, so he is still a little rusty and getting up to the speed of the game, but that chance was exactly the kind he was introduced to take advantage of.

BENZEMA HAS TO SCORE! The ball is spilled by Sergio and falls to the unmarked Benzema six yards out, but he somehow manages to blast his shot over the crossbar. Wow.

Celta Vigo are now quite obviously hoping to see out this game. They have taken off Aspas and replaced him with a centre back. They will sit deep and plug the gaps at the back.

Celta Vigo sub: Iago Aspas OFF, Sergi Gomez ON.

Zidane has brought on the heavy artillery. He probably didn't want to use Benzema this evening, but he doesn't really have much of a choice. Real now playing with four attackers.

Real Madrid sub: Danilo OFF, Karim Benzema ON.

Casemiro attempts a shot from distance, but that's not good enough to bother Sergio in the Celta Vigo goal. There is a feeling that Real Madrid are beginning to run out of ideas.

The frustration is certainly starting to build among the Real Madrid players. This game is actually in a bit of lull right now after those goals, and that will suit Celta Vigo just fine.

RAMOS GETS LUCKY! Celta Vigo are adament that Ramos should have seen a second yellow card for elbowing Aspas, but the referee shakes his head and waves away their claims.

It must be said though that Ronaldo certainly hasn't been at his best this evening. He looks well short of match sharpness after the winter break. Will Zidane take him off?
