Leganes' players get a standing ovation at the full time whistle. They were excellent tonight, but they just couldn't find the goals to claw back the deficit from the second half. Real Madrid, on the other hand, were poor and could have been in real trouble were it not for Navas.

Navas double save! The Costa Rican goalkeeper makes sure there will no late nerves for Real Madrid, first saving from Braithwaite and then denying Arnaiz. Fantastic from Navas!

Casemiro gets a yellow card for as cynical a foul you are ever likely to see. That was actually comical.

It's probably too late for Leganes now, but a goal in stoppage time would at least shake some nerves into Real Madrid. Can they create one last opportunity? Time is running out.

Off the post! What an opportunity for Brahim to open his account for Real Madrid. A lightning run from Vinicius down the left set up the chance, but Cuellar saved from the youngster.

On comes Brahim, the new signing from Manchester City. He gets a few minutes at the end of the match.

From distance! Valverde lines up the shot from the best part of 30 yards out, but it had to be special to beat Cuellar from there and the Leganes keeper makes the straightforward save.

Real Madrid are rocking a little bit again. However, this push might have come too late for Leganes. Can they really find two goals in the time remaining to force this to extra time?

Vinicius enters the referee's book. Was that for time wasting, perhaps?

Big chance for Sabin! That would have given us a grandstand finish. Sabin was through on goal, but Navas rushed out to the edge of the box and the shot goes over via the Real Madrid keeper.

Navas save! The Real Madrid goalkeeper is called upon to make a stop, denying Braithwaite's header from six yards out. That was an opportunity for Leganes late on in this game!

This one has fizzled out a bit. At half time, it seemed that Leganes were cranking up a comeback. But that hasn't really materialised in the second half. Poor from both teams, really.

Juanfran cross! The Leganes full back drives into the Real Madrid box, he had FIVE teammates to aim for in the middle, but his poor cross is cut out by the first man. Disappointing.

Pellegrino is going for it now and that could open up this match. This could be the thing that gets Leganes back into things, or it could be the thing that sees Real Madrid bag an away goal.

A change for Leganes and it's Silva who comes on for Kravets. He'll get the last 15 minutes.
