Barcelona are into the semi finals of the Copa del Rey! They had work to do this evening and boy, did they do it. Sevilla gave themselves a chance and had opportunities, but in the end they just didn't have the quality to get past the Catalans. They will rue not scoring more in the first leg.

Barcelona launched a counter attack after a dreadful Sevilla corner kick. Messi was released up the right by Alba and the ball across to Suarez was fantastic and he finished to put this tie to bed.

This has been an excellent Copa del Rey quarter final on the whole. In fact, the Copa del Rey has been excellent all season long. There have been some classic matches.

Is there one last chance left in this match for Sevilla? They have had opportunities. Barcelona have looked nervous at times in this second half. It could still happen...

An Vazquez is another player who was thrown on for Sevilla by Machin moments ago.

On to the roof of the net! A magnificent pass from Messi releases Roberto through on goal, but he could only lift his effort on to the top of the Sevilla net when he might have done better.

Machin is going for it here as he throws in Ben Yedder for the final 10 minutes of the game.

One wonders if Machin might have taken this before kick off. It was always likely that Barcelona would mount a fight back, but Sevilla still have a chance of going through at this late stage.

Coutinho has been the best player on the pitch for Barcelona tonight. The Brazilian playmaker has struggled for form this season, but this should give his confidence a big boost.

Chance for Messi! The Barcelona number 10 is presented with another opportunity, but he shoots wide. It's not often you say this about Messi, but is he being wasteful this evening?

Barcelona seem to have gathered themselves in the last few minutes. They are controlling things, but Sevilla still have a chance as long as the scoreline stays like this.

Valverde makes his first change of the night and it's Rakitic who comes off for Vidal.
