Do Inter have the rhythm necessary in their second string? They have the experience of Arturo Vidal to help keep things on a level, but it's early so far.

The player to watch here tonight is probably Lautaro, who once seemed set to turn up at Barcelona alongside Lionel Messi, but as somebody else said: nobody knows anything.

Empoli meanwhile are mid-table, so they've nothing better to do with their time.

With Inter Milan top of the table but only two points clear (though with a game in hand) this might not be the most pressing fixture. Domestic cup competitions are not as well regarded as the FA Cup used to be - and maybe not even as well regarded as it is now.
