A note on yellow cards - it has been put about that they are wiped at the end of the group stage. Not so - only after the quarter-finals are any remaining bookings discarded. Says UEFA Article 21.04: "Single cautions from matches in the final tournament expire on completion of the quarter-finals, and are not carried forward to the semi-finals."
