FT: Germany 0-0 Poland. The first stalemate in the 18th game of Euro 2016 as the world champions and Poland are forced to wait to book a place in the last 16. The Germans dominated the first period but struggled to carve out clear-cut openings and could have easily been beaten had Milik not spurned two great chances for the Poles.

Germany pressing but Poland are holding firm.

Another chance for Poland to load it into the area with a left-wing free kick but Milik's delivery doesn't beat the first man.

It's looking like a stalemate.

POLAND CHANGE: Peszko on Grosicki off.

Howedes charges into the box but his poor touch takes him into Pazdan who makes an important block.

Grosicki goes for goal at the near post but fluffs his effort. A real waste with so many players up from the back.

Boateng blocks Lewandowski's flick with his hand. He's been booked... but the referee settles for a free kick to Poland on the left adjacent to the area.

Germany still probing... Hector makes a bold run in behind but sees his attempted cutback diverted behind. Poland clear the resulting corner.

Groans as a chance for Poland on the break goes begging. Lewandowski pulled short but saw the pass forward played beyond him into the channel.
