It's been hard work but NI are within sight of HT now. Can they make it to the interval without conceding? O'Neill's gameplan seems to be to soak up the pressure and change the frontline late on...

The alarm bells have been ringing at times, but NI remain unbreached.

A bit of respite for NI as they win a free kick just inside Poland's half. It's hoisted into the box but doesn't lead to much.

All hands to the pump for the Irish right now.

POLAND CHANCE! Milik latches onto Piszczek cutback, ghosts past a challenge before lashing his shot wide of the upright. He should have scored. Let off for NI.

Half an hour gone. NI have had to defend resolutely but it's still goalless and O'Neill won't be too unhappy.

A dangerous, probing run from Milik sees him cut back onto his left foot and crack a 25-yard drive at goal that proves easy enough for Michael McGovern to gather at the second attempt.

Just the 66 per cent possession for Poland so far...

NI were 5/1 shots to win this match. You can see why given the total dominance of the ball from Poland. Still, stranger things have happened.

Should we expect a headed goal today? Northern Ireland netted six times with headers in qualifying. Out of all of the sides at Euro 2016, only Poland nodded in more. They notched eight.
24'
DID YOU KNOW? More than half of Northern Ireland's 16 qualifying goals came from set-pieces. Hal a dozen were from corners and three were from indirect free-kicks. Is that their best bet today? They'd need to get into Poland's half to do that!

NI deal with the set piece once more. Lewandowski goes down after a tussles with Evans. The referee waves it away.
22'
Kuba with another corner from the right. It's nodded clear and the follow-up shot is blocked. Jonny Evans launches into a great tackle on Kuba. He takes man and ball and should have a goal kick. The referee awards a corner... If Poland score here it'll be controversial.

Norn Iron showing some sound organisation and resilience so far. They must get hold of the ball as this develops. If it carries on like this the inevitable goal for Poland will come.
20'
Lewandowski with some nice juggling skills on the right of the area but NI do just enough to pick his pocket and hack it up field. It's coming straight back though....

Can't argue!

Lafferty looking very isolated up top for NI.

Squawka's heat map shows just how one-sided it's been so far.
