FULL-TIME! It's all over and Ukraine have done it! First-half goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Yaremchuk hand Ukraine a vital 2-1 win over North Macedonia to strengthen their hopes of qualifying out of Group C at Euro 2020. The relatively comfortable victory leaves Ukraine third in the group on three points with one game left to play against Austria on Monday. For North Macedonia, their chances of qualifying are slim with back-to-back defeats leaving them bottom.

BIG SAVE! Straight away Bushchan is called into action! Bardhi shoots low and hard and it's smartly parried away by the Ukraine goalkeeper.

CLOSE! Zinchenko spins his marker and lays it off to Karavaev's, whose driven shot takes a wicked deflection off Velkovski and is turned on goal, but Dimitrievski just about gets down in time to make an important stop.
NO GOAL!! Pandev has the ball into the net with a chipped finish over Bushchan from close range, but he was offside when he was slipped through on goal.

GOAL!!! Ukraine go 2-0 up and it's Yaremchuk with the goal! This one is very straightforward. Yarmolenko's first-time pass lands at the striker's feet and he cooly slides it past Dimitrievski into the bottom corner. That's Yaremchuk's 10th goal for his country and his second in the tournament.
There was a pause in play with Yarmolenko picking up a slight knock, but he's managed to shake it off and we play on.

GOAL!! Andriy Yarmolenko scores and Ukraine take the lead just before the half-hour mark and it's their captain who has done it! The corner swung to the near post is flicked on by Karavaev before Yarmolenko fires across Dimitrievski into the bottom corner. Ukraine lead!
BIG SAVE! Yarmolenko is slipped through by Malinovsky. The West Ham forward tries to dink it over Dimitrievski but he gets his body in the way of it for a corner.
Ukraine push forward again. Malinovsky goes down in a heap and is holding his neck. He looked to be fouled by Spirovski but referee Rapallini saw nothing in it.
Yarmolenko cuts onto his left foot and curls a shot on goal, it takes a deflection and loops up into the air before Dimitrievski punches clear.
Ukraine are dominating possession and are camped outside N Macedonia's box but Angelovski's men are holding firm and have looked tight at the back so far, except for when Yaremchuk was clear on goal but could chose not to shoot.
Mykolenko's cross flies out for a goal-kick. Ukraine started this game on top but N Macedonia have grown in confidence and it's now got a lot tighter.
Better from N Macedonia! Ristovski's low cross to the near post reaches Elmas who tries to twist and tap the ball into the bottom corner, but the Napoli forward fires just wide.
SHOT! Bardhi rifles a shot on goal but Musliu gets his head in the way of it. It comes out to Nikolov but he drags his effort well wide... it almost touches the corner flag! It's been an entertaining opening quarter-hour to this contest. Both teams need a win today.
Zinchenko tees up Yaremchuk who tries to lob the goalkeeper from a tight angle, but the striker is offside.
CRUCIAL! Yaremchuk squanders a great chance! He sprints away from Velkovski, but instead of shooting on goal from close range in a one-on-one, he attempts to square it and Ristovski can make a timely sliding intervention! That was a huge opportunity for Ukraine to take the lead!
SAVE! A fine stop from Dimitrievski! Malinovksy's dangerous low curling strike from the edge of the box heading for the bottom corner is parried behind by the busy goalkeeper for a corner. This time Shaparenko flights a good ball in but Yarmolenko, stretching at the far post, could not make clean contact and we have a goal-kick.
Yarmolenko strikes off his unfavoured right boot and it turns into a cross which is cleared behind for the first corner of the afternoon. Shaparenko's cross is is hooked away by Elmas at the near post. Ukraine are on top right now.
Malinovsky's dangerous cross looking for Yaremchuk at the far post is flamboyantly punched clear by Dimitrievski.
Alioski's long ball looking for Elmas lands in the arms of Bushchan. Ukraine are keeping most of the ball with N Macedonia seemingly happy to soak it up and hit on the counter.

We are underway! Today's referee is the Argentine Fernando Rapallini. He becomes the first South American ever to officiate at a European Championship.
Both teams are out on the pitch and the national anthems are underway... kick-off is just moments away!
Today's venue is the National Stadium in Bucharest, Romania where the sun is shining and the atmosphere building ahead of a crunch clash for both nations.
Here is the North Macedonia team. Igor Angelovski said pre-match: "We have to play at our very best - this is the Euros. Only then can we earn a good result. We came to the Euros to reach the round of 16. Whoever wins this match will improve their chances to advance. We are not feeling any pressure, we are motivated, and we will play to win."
The formations ahead of this afternoon's game. First up it's Ukraine with Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko expected to operate in central midfield once again.
Ukraine manager Andriy Shevchenko says his side are wary of the challenge North Macedonia present as they bid to reach the knockouts. "This is a team that deserves respect," he told reporters. "They have character, they have outstanding leaders and a well-established playing system. They almost always play 5-3-2 and like to counter-attack. They are good battlers as well. So we don't expect any gifts from them."
It's also one change for North Macedonia following their 3-1 loss to Austria. Striker Aleksandar Trajkovski has been replaced with midfielder Stefan Spirovski in a defensive move by boss Igor Angelovski.
Ukraine boss - and former legendary player - Andriy Shevchenko make one change to his team that lost 3-2 to the Netherlands in their opening group game. Taras Stepanenko is back in the XI having recovered from a knee injury. He takes the place of Sergiy Sydorchuk.
