Of course, Wales are one of the best defensive units in European qualifying and they are showing it again here. Besides the odd slip, they have been excellent at the back once more.

Wales however, will be quite content with trying to sit deep and soak up pressure before hitting out on the break. And in Bale they have one of the best players in world football for doing that.

I expect that we will see more attacking intent from Bosnia in this half. They need to better Israel's result to keep themselves in play-off contention. And Israel, right draw, are drawing.

HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN? Ramsay dribbles his way to the byline and squirms a pass to Robson-Kanu. But the striker can't bundle the ball over the line... what a save from Begovic!

YELLOW CARD: Emir Spahic (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

I'd expect that this game will ramp up as time progresses, because Israel are still drawing 0-0 in their game. Bosnia need to better their result to stay in qualification contention.

Bale is so crucial to this Wales team, not just because of his quality but because of his importance to the tactics of Coleman's side. He's the one who gives them width and an outlet on the break.

While the quality hasn't always been there, the tempo for the most part has been very high from both sides so far. There will be a few tired legs by the end of this match.

Pjanic has been relatively disappointing so far. The Roma playmaker has the ability to open up any team, but his impact has been minimal. Bosnia need their main man to stand up.

Allen gives away the freekick with the foul in the centre of the pitch, and the Liverpool man needs to make more of an impression in that area of the field. They need him to control things.

You could say that Bale is one of the best strikers of a freekick in world football, but he was only setting his sights with that last effort. He'll have his range set for the next one, right?

That was an opportunity for Bale to get a shot away at goal, striking the freekick from the best part of 30 yards. However, the effort lacks power and Begovic gets his body behind it.

Bosnia on the other hand need a win to propel themselves back into play-off contention. So it is slightly surprising that there hasn't been more energy and drive from them so far.

Of course, Wales only need a point to secure their passage to the Euros in France next summer. As this game has progressed the more they have decided to play it safe in midfield.
