Jordan Pérez (Gibraltar goalkeeper): "We need to concede less than seven then we can say we're better than Brazil.”- That's the attitude!

Thomas Schneider (Germany assistant coach): “We're taking Gibraltar dead seriously. We've got to field our best possible team against them. We are focusing solely and exclusively on the game against Gibraltar. Having the right attitude for this game is going to be crucial. We must not be negligent.” Come on, Thomas, you're having a laugh?

While Germany have a host of players you could argue is the stand-out player, Gibraltar's biggest star is undoubtedly Preston North End's Scott Wiseman. Liam Walker is regarded as one of the nation's best players, once on Portsmouth's books. Up front, Brian Perez, of Gibraltar Premier Division side, Lincoln, will be hoping to, erm, do the damage in attack.

Joachim Low, as promised, has named a strong starting-line up as Germany look to take their poor post-World Cup form out on the vulnerable Gibraltar. They will play a 3-5-2 formation with Lukas Podolski starting on the left of midfield and Karim Bellarabi on the right as part of a five man midfield which includes Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze. Nothing to worry about, eh, Gibraltar?
