That's full time. A brilliant victory for Ireland. They were better organised, better in front of goal, and just better. They still have a chance of qualifying as they wait for the next game against Poland.

Germany amble up slowly from the corner, and Ireland are sitting so deep as they wait to see what's coming. A minute left as Christie blocks an Ozil corner for a throw.

Scotland win another corner. They run down a good 30 seconds in the corner, and Germany then foul up a clearance and concede another corner.

Hendrick's cross blocks off Boateng, and he just wins a corner.

Kroos shoots from 30 yards out, and his rising shot goes well over, and he might have twanged a muscle too. There are four minutes to go.

Hoolahan is booked. Elsewhere, Poland have scored to equalise - Scotland could be going out.

Muller sends the ball out of play as he tries to beat Christie. Not long to go now.

Neuer collects a clearance about 50 yards out of his goal. He is really asking for it, if he wasn't so talented.

Long breaks down the middle after Ozil and Reus overelaborate. Hummels sticks a leg out, and Long dives, gaining a foul, and getting Hummels booked.

Volland on for Gundogan.

Brady sends a clearance 60 yards out, and he's now gone down with cramp. That might be genuine, it might be gamesmanship.

Germany continue to press, but without much skill.

What a ridiculous miss. Muller is 12 yards out. There's nobody marking him. Everyone waits for him to score, and he flashes his shot wide!

GOAL! Ireland 1-0 Germany. Long scores - Randolph sends a ball down the pitch, over the top of two defenders. Long arcs his run to pick the ball up and drive down the inside right channel. He takes the ball into the box, and fires a great finish towards the top corner.
