FT Ireland 1-1 Scotland. A very good result for Scotland, but not the one Ireland wanted.

McClean and Naismith both booked as they go nose-to-nose.

CHANCE! Maloney's corner is not cleared by Ireland and the ball drops to Naismith, who hammers it at goal from a few yards out - but the ball strikes his own man!

Ireland sub: Long on, Murphy off.

Keane cuts in from the right and lets fly with a ferocious left-footed shot, but it's straight at Marshall.

Can Keane be the match winner?

Ireland sub: Robbie Keane on, Hoolahan off.

The corner comes to nothing yet again. But Ireland are knocking on the door. In fact, they're banging on the door!

Superb play by Murphy, who wins the ball and shows great determination to squeeze a cross in from the left that results in yet another Ireland corner.

Brady's delivery moments later is a better one, but Murphy can't quite direct his header at goal.

McClean is straight into the thick of the action, winning Ireland a corner. But it's a corner that comes to nothing for the hosts.

Martin O'Neill with a positive change. He's going for this.

O'Shea gallops forward from defence and into the box. He rolls the ball back to Walters, but his cross from the right is disappointing, sailing straight out for a goal kick.

CLOSE! Anya's cross from the left deflects and loops into the air, almost catching Given out in the Ireland goal. The veteran goalkeeper was left scrambling there.

Ireland players protesting that Scott Brown should have been booked for a foul on Hoolahan, who was leading a promising Ireland counter-attack.

An hour gone and we're no closer to knowing who will win this. The onus is on Ireland to get the win, of course.

CLOSE! Murphy goes clean through again after a long punt splits the Scotland defence but his shot lacks power and is saved by Marshall, who's having a good game in the Scotland goal. Murphy certainly a threat.
