HEADER FROM IBRAHIMOVIC! Olsen does really well to beat his man on the left side and stage a cross up into the area, but the PSG striker can't get over it and heads over the target.

Denmark actually enjoyed more of the ball in the first half, but it wasn't until late on that they created a clear goalscoring opportunity. They need to show more in the final third.

Right on the stroke of half-time Schmeichel made an excellent reaction save to tip a thunderous Ibrahimovic shot round the corner. There was some power in the strike from Zlatan!

Sweden probably didn't want half-time to come at the end of the opening 45 minutes. They were on top and were pressing for a second goal. Denmark needed the break to regroup.

HALF-TIME: Sweden 1-0 Denmark. Well, how about that for an end to the first half? Sweden have had the better chances in the opening 45 minutes, and finally they took one of them.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sweden 1 (45 mins - Peter Fosberg) Denmark 0. The hosts have a crucial lead in this tie! Lustig's cross finds Fosberg inside the box and the Swede sweeps home the finish into the far corner of the net. Excellent finish!

INCHES WIDE FROM IBRAHIMOVIC! That's the first time he's had a real sight of goal, but he doesn't quite catch his shot cleanly and the bal flashes past the far post. Schmeichel wasn't sure.

Everyone inside the Friends Arena appeals for a freekick for the by Kjaer on Ibrahimovic, but the referee refrains from blowing the whistle. They're not happy about that.

Straight into the head of Kallsrom! Eriksen lined up the freekick from the edge of the opposition box, but he couldn't get it over the Sweden wall... and he has poleaxed Kallstrom.

Denmark have still had more of the ball in this first half (54 percent, 46 percent) but it is Sweden who are now looking most dangerous on the edge of the penalty area, probing in the final third.

The pressing from Sweden is perhaps the biggest improvement they have made to their game in the last 20 minutes or so. Denmark aren't being given a chance to settle on the ball.

After a poor start to the match this evening Sweden have really come into it, and they are the ones who are now creating the chances in front of goal. They'll rue the fact they haven't scored yet.

That was good goalkeeping from Schmeichel! The looping cross came into the box looking for Ibrahimovic, but the Denmark keeper came out to punch clear. And miles clear, too.

THE BEST CHANCE OF THE MATCH SO FAR FALLS TO BERG! A wonderful flick over the top from Ibrahimovic sets Berg clean through on goal, but he pulls his shot across goal and past the far post.

BERG ALMOST SQUEEZES IT IN AT THE NEAR POST! The Sweden striker was very opportunistic in trying to poke home a shot from a flick on, but the Denmark keeper makes the stop.

That was such an anti-climax! Ibrahimovic lined up the freekick for a long time while the change was being made, but he could only smash his shot straight into the Denmark wall.
