Armenia v Wales – Robert Page's men suffer blow to Euro 2024 qualifying hopes in breathless draw

Armenia push for the winner late on and are unfortunate not to get it with Wales hanging on. It finishes 1-1. Which is about right. Can't say Wales did enough to earn the three points.

Cancarevic so relieved to see the ball land straight in his arms as Ethan Ampadu nodded into his arms. Looked like a free header too.

All sorts of bodies back in the Welsh box as Spertsyan tries again for Armenia, but Neco Williams does wonderfully well to make a block and divert the ball over the bar. That looked goalbound.

Otherwise automatic qualification will be out of their hands. A draw would leave Croatia needing victories against Latvia and Armenia to book their spot at the finals. All on these last few minutes for Rob Page's side.
