Thursday’s premiere European competition returns for another edition tonight as the Europa League quarter-finals take centre stage. Our attention turns to the Lazio vs. Fenerbahce clash – a match to be played behind closed doors after UEFA banned Lazio’s fans for racist behaviour. The Biancocelesti faithful complete a two match suspension tonight, but with the game of utmost importance you wonder whether the home side can overturn a 2-0 first leg defeat without their passionate support.

Lazio trying to put pressure on the ball, chasing down the Fenerbahce defenders whenever they attempt to start playing.
52'
For all this Lazio pressure, Fenerbahce have defended well and restricted their opponents to shots from distance mainly.
51'
Kozak almost latches onto another cross, nice to see his teammates attempting to involve him in this half, but he gets underneath it and the danger is averted.
50'
A low cross from Lulic is almost met by Kozak, but Yobo does really well to clear. Pressure's building.
49'
Candreva gets into a good position and delivers a cross but the linesman waves his flag to signal it went out of play.

Biava and Candreva combine down the right, the latter sending in a cross which is met by the head of Kozak... Over, just. Bright start from the home side.
47'
Demirel starts the second half as he finished the first, completely missing a dangerous Lazio cross. Fortunately for him no one was gambling at the back post. That might be his last chance.

We're back underway. Lazio need at least two goals.

And it's half-time here. An absorbing match that could do with a goal (like most 0-0 games...) Lazio unable to convert their dominance into a lead.

Kozak fires wide from six yards. Looked like it was deflected but the referee isn't interested.

Kozak was booked for that incident. Since when was chasing down a loose ball a yellow card? Mad. The keeper is feeling sorry for himself, clutching his poorly hand, but Kozak had every right to chase the ball.
44'
Candreva whips in a dangerous ball that is not dealt with at all by Demirel who dives over it theatrically. Hernanes picks up the ball and shoots, the keeper spills, but gathers as Kozak closes in. Hang on...
43'
But it's actually the Turkish side enjoying some possession. Almost every player gets a touch before it ends up with Demirel who gives it straight back to Lazio.
42'
Fenerbahce look like they need half-time. It surely can't be that long now until a Lazio breakthrough.

Three or four Lazio players exchange quick passes on the edge of the area. The ball comes to Ederson but from a tight angle he fires straight at the keeper's legs. Demirel did well to stand up tall.
40'
Ziegler concedes a corner but Fenerbahce defend it well yet again. Can Lazio score before the break?
39'
Hernanes to Ederson, back to Hernanes. Through ball... Kozak runs the wrong way and nothing comes of it. They split the Fenerbahce midfield there.
38'
Candreva elects to run with the ball this time, getting down the right and forcing a corner.
37'
Yet another shot from thirty yards, it must be Vladimir Petkovic's gameplan. Candreva's shot flies high into the stands.
36'
The corner is played deep into the area and breaks to Lulic. Unfortunately his cross evades the Lazio heads and is dealt with at the back post.
35'
Another wave of Lazio pressure, building nicely from the back, results in Kozak winning a corner.
