Tiendalli is dispossessed yet again and St Gallen go close. Janjatovic cuts inside from the left and nutmegs Amat before drilling the ball into the path of Keita. Chico lunges at the ball and makes the clearance from six yards.

Laudrup’s men are really taking the pace out of the game now. They’re stroking the ball around looking to run down the clock.

Swansea are down to ten men. Michu is changing into his sixth shirt of the night.

Chico is fouled by Vitkieviez deep in the Swansea half. There’s nothing in the challenge, but the Swansea man takes offence and squares up to his opponent. Handbags!

Chico pulls down Keita just outside the Swansea penalty area. The visitors crowd the box but Nater’s free kick drifts over everybody and flies out for a goal kick.

Poor pass from Swansea that plays his side into danger. The youngster drops short to pick up the ball and then tries to force a pass into the path of Vazquez. It’s intercepted and St Gallen look to build an attack.

Alejandro Pozuelo is replaced by JonJo Shelvey. A move to surely stabilise the Swansea midfield as the hosts look to see out these last few minutes.

POST!! Substitute Nater strikes the ball from 30 yards and catches it beautifully, swerving through the air and beating Tremmel before crashing off the foot of the post.

CHANCE! Dyer could put the game to bed. Pozuelo crossed from the left and finds his teammate eight yards from goal. Dyer’s volleyed effort is hit well but is cleared by the boot of the sprawling Lopar.

The referee has got a few things wrong this evening and does so yet again. Dyer is brought down by Lenjani in what was a cynical challenge. Dyer then appeals for a free kick, of which he is given, but then is shoulder charged by the St Gallen man. The two get into a scuffle and are both booked.

Lenjani’s free kick is good one but Tremmel is off his line in a flash to claim the ball and relieve his side of the pressure.

Davies now gives away a free kick on the edge of his own box. He is adamant that he took the ball but goes into the book anyway. Testing times for the Swans.

De Guzman gives away a needless free kick deep in his own half. The hosts will need to cut silly mistakes like that out if they’re to hold onto this lead.

Superb defending from Martic. Dyer picks the ball up on the centre circle and bursts forward, attempting the play-in Vazquez, who would go through on goal. Martic spots the danger and is able to make a last-ditch challenge.

Daniele Russo is introduced and replaces captain Montandon in a like-for-like swap.

Michu looks to be having a bit more trouble with that head injury. There is a serious amount of blood pouring down the back of his neck and onto his shirt.

CHANCE!! What an effort from Vazquez, who has been on the pitch a matter of seconds. He’s sent down the left and, with no teammates available, opts to go it alone. The Spaniard attempts to whip the ball into the far corner from the tightest of angles, missing by a matter of inches.

Wilfried Bony is replaced by Alvaro Vazquez who makes just his third appearance for the Jacks.
