Besides Bruno and Alan, Kampl and Schmitz have been Salzburg's other bright sparks and Celtic don't look able to cope or counter their movement and combination. Add in the pressing to the visitor's fluid attacking and it's easy to see why the Scottish champions are having problems stopping them. Celtic have so far played into their hands.
27'
Alan goes down after Van Dijk sticks a leg and throws his arms up to look for a penalty. The referee is again uninterested in any protests for a spot kick and waves play on. The Brazilian sits down and flops his arms with dismay at the decision.
26'
Celtic's long passing hasn't helped so far. It's just not accurate and tight enough to not be turned against them by Salzburg's ever-ready runners and pressers, constantly snatching up any every loose ball. The hosts are going to have to be near inch perfect for their game plan to come off tonight. So far, they've been too sloppy.
24'
Bruno comes again. Salzburg's attacking looks relentless. They've giving Celtic no space or time on the ball and so far the Scottish champions haven't coped all that well with the pressure.
22'
Soirano takes it and it whistles into the back of the net, but it's ruled out as a shot from an in-direct free kick. Craig Gordon didn't even bother to save, instead highlighting the error to the referee. A very brave but correct decision. The Celtic keeper restarts the game with a goal kick.
22'
A poor mistake by Van Dijk sees the Dutchman attempt to play out from the back but take a heavy touch and ultimately pass it to an onrushing Salzburg player. Ambrose rushes over to clear the danger and shows a bit of stuf leading to a blown whistle and a freekick.
20'
Salzburg almost make it three, with Craig Gordon tipping round a long-range shot that looked to be on its way into the back of his net. The resulting corner is wasted by Salzburg, but Alan and Bruno are looking dangerous from open play, dancing through the middle.
18'
Griffiths again looks to cause problems with his running but his attempt to prey on the Salzburg defence is snuffed out. Celtic have to be much quicker than they have been to outfox their opponent's defensive line. So far, they haven't found that neccesary edge and element of surprise to prosper on the break.
17'
Those two goals make Alan the top scorer in the Europa League, and make Salzburg's lead at the top of the group look even more formidable tonight. Can Celtic find a way back or are they now destined to come in second?
14'
A penalty shout for Celtic is waved away from the referee as McGregor is pushed down in the Salzburg box. Prior to the alleged foul Stokes did well to bustle through the box. His efforts and McGregor's pleas come to nothing however.
13'
GOAL! Celtic 0-2 Salzburg (Alan) - Alan on the double! A glancing header sends the ball over towards Celtic's goal where the Brazilian is again waiting to poach a finish home. The hosts are now 2-0 down and look to be struggling against the Austrian's intense pressing.
11'
Salzburg are putting Celtic under heavy pressure, with two attempts pushed away in quick succession. Now they have a throw in from the right. It's put out only for Salzburg to take another throw quick. Scott Brown complains to the officials. He feels it was a foul throw.
10'
Celtic immediately look to pull one back. Leigh Griffiths gets on the end of a long ball from the back, bringing it down with his first touch for a shot. However, the flag goes up for offside and the whistle is blown causing the striker to sky his effort into the heavens rather than the back of the net.
8'
GOAL! Celtic 0-1 Salzburg (Alan) - Bruno works his way in from the left, running laterally right into the centre of the park to get onto his right foot. He shoots and his attempt takes a wild deflection that drops down for Alan who slots home.
6'
Ambrose darts forrward past two players as Celtic Park roars with excitment, but the Nigerian loses the ball as he approaches the Salzburg box. A challenge too far.
4'
Salzburg gain another corner however, but this time Van Dijk is the savior and heads the ball out to clear it. The visitors soon come back at Celtic's defence however to win another freekick in the opposite corner. Soriano takes again. Celtic gain possession but struggle to break out from their own area.
3'
A Salzburg throw-in causes Van Dijk to commit a foul in Celtic's right-hand corner. Soriano takes the kick which whizzes into the box. It comes to nothing however.

KICK OFF! We are under way at Celtic Park. Celtic get the game underway as the masters of their own destiny in Group D. A win tonight would see them over take Salzburg who start the game at the top fo the group.
