Hello all and welcome to our live coverage of the Europa League group-stage clash between Everton and Wolfsburg from Goodison Park.

Naismith at the heart of another Everton attack as he gets on the end of Lukaku's knockdown, but Malanda does well to race back and make the vital challenge.

This is almost like a game of basketball with both sides taking it in turns to attack. If the final ball were better for both teams we would have seen a fair few more chances than we have.

Rodriguez sends another dangerous ball in from the left but Howard does well to smother. Everton need to watch the left-back as he is starting to cause a little havoc.

A nice move from Everton as Coleman picks up the ball on the right... He sends a very dangerous ball across the face of goal but is unable to find a team-mate. Unlucky.

Another chance for Wolfsburg as Arnold slips in Olic, but the striker's effort is poor and sails high and wide.

Rodriguez sends a ball into the box from the left but he is just unable to pick out Malanda, who made a clever run.

Roberto Martinez will be very happy with that opening 25 minutes, but he knows Wolfsburg will be capable of notching an equaliser at any moment with the quality they have.

That opening goal has actually gone down as an own goal and has been given to Rodriguez as the ball came back off him following Naismith's effort.

This game is really stretched now with Everton bursting forward... Mirallas picks out McGeady in the middle but the winger's effort is blocked by a defender.

Everton caught napping as Caligiuri arrives into the box unmarked to meet a ball in from the left, but his effort is easily dealt with by Howard.

Everton soon go up the other end, however, as Lukaku bursts into the box, but he seems to slip as he shoots at goal and his effort sails wide.

Wolfsburg come forward through Gustavo, who has a go at goal from distance, but Howard does well to tip the ball away.

So, a great start for Everton then... Can they build on that opening goal?

Benaglio is currently off the field receiving treatement after Naismith seemed to collide with the keeper for the goal. He has his contact lense back in now, though, and is all good to go!

Naismith continues his fine run of form this season, having already scored three in the Premier League.

GOAL!!! And Everton take the lead through Naismith, who somehow manages to squeeze the ball over the line after being teed up by Baines.

The Everton support are in great voice this evening and are really enjoying being back in Europe as they cheer each ball on as if they are on the pitch themselves.

They do win their first corner, however, it soon comes to nothing.

Everton still looking a little nervous... Coleman comes forward down the right but then loses it far too easily.
