Early corner, and early chance for Harry Kane! Davies's corner comes from he right, headed on by Vertonghen, and Kane does well to switch it to his preferred foot and lashes it against the woodwork.

The team news before the game was relatively limited: Petar Skuletic is suspended for the hosts; and as I said earlier, Emmanuel Adebayor, Younes Kaboul, Mousa Dembele, Nacer Chadli and Danny Rose have all remained at home, while a hip injury keeps full-back Kyle Walker out of the Group C encounter. Roberto Soldado is a possibility after recovering from an issue with his neck and back, while goalkeeper Michel Vorm and centre-back Federico Fazio could make their Tottenham debuts.

And for fashion fans, the word is the Tottenham players will be wearing their third kit tonight - all yellow.

Pochettino: "We have much information on Partizan, a big club with a great history. We all know that they are a very good team who play with a good philosophy and we expect a tough game. They are top of the Serbian league and they have a lot of talent, lots of good players.”

Mauricio Pochettino has downplayed concerns racist abuse could scar Tottenham's Europa League clash against Partizan Belgrade, with the head coach insisting the vile taunts aimed at Danny Rose two years ago had no bearing on his or anyone else's absence - https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-pochettino-makes-use-large-squad-053617819--sow.html
