NO PENALTY! Half-hearted appeals from Chelsea. Giroud's attempted pass appears to strike the arm of Abraham but the referee is well positioned and signals play on. Replays show it was completely accidental and was actually outside the box.

The energetic Kostic is afforded too much and he duly punishes the Blues, picking out Jovic with a precise cross. He has an awful lot to do but it's a glorious header with just enough power and direction to beat Kepa.

JUST OVER! Kostic curls in a wonderful cross from the resulting free-kick. It falls to Abraham at the far post, but he can't control his volleyed finish and the ball drifts just over Kepa's bar.

Playing with fluidity, energy and drive, Frankfurt are asking all the questions here. They work it to Da Costa once more but his low and inviting cross is smothered by Kepa.

Loftus-Cheek is robbed by Da Costa, who then goes on a lung-busting run down the right flank. He pulls it back to Kostic to have a shot but the effort is blocked on the edge of the penalty area.

Loftus-Cheek is pulling the strings in the Chelsea midfield. Nutmegging Hasebe, he races forward to launch another Chelsea attack. Pedro is staying really wide and causing Frankfurt problems, but Loftus-Cheek's pass fails to pick him out on this occasion.

Chelsa enjoying a spell of pressure now. Loftus-Cheek runs through the centre, switching the ball to Emerson on the flank. His cross to the near post is headed clear by Abraham.

Lovely football from Frankfurt. They shift the ball to Falette whose cross picks out the unmarked Da Costa at the far post but he fails to get the ball under control and then commits a foul on Emerson in a bid to retrieve possession.

The Spanish referee is seemingly happy to keep the game flowing, as another late challenge in midfield is ignored.
