Two goals from Harry Kane has Tottenham comfortably ahead in this Europa League last-16 tie. That was Spurs fifth win in a row in all competitions. It was a straightforward evening for Spurs and the Croatian champions now have it all to do in Zagreb.

Bergwijn's cross to the backpost finds Bale lurking, but he cannot turn it in with the outside of his left boot! That was a good chance to really seal this first leg. CHANCE! Vinicius then cuts in from the right and has a shot but he takes it too early and Livakovic claims it.

Zagreb have a free-kick and it is launched into the box but Sissoko hoofs it clear.

Ademi hobbles off to the sideline in some pain and has to be helped off by two medics. There have been plenty of rash tackles in this contest. Sissoko is now down on the ground after bumping into the left arm of Leovac.

Kane has an icepack on his knee on the bench. Spurs and England fans alike will hope he is OK. He strode off the pitch relatively untroubled so hopefully it is precautionary. YELLOW! For Ristovski for bringing down Lucas. Here is that second goal from Harry Kane...

YELLOW! Hojbjerg brings down Ivanusec and is straight into the referee's book. He will miss the second leg in Zagreb.

After that challenge, Mourinho wants to protect his striker. Vinicius comes on for the man of the match Kane.

Bale is clattered off the pitch before Kane goes down under a challenge holding his right knee after he was barged over by Kastrati. Spurs have a free-kick around 35-yards out which Bale will hit. GREAT EFFORT! It dips and it swerves but Livakovic excellently punches it over the bar!

YELLOW! For Sanchez as he catches Gavranovic.

SUB! Petkovic comes off for Gavranovic.

CRUCIAL! Kastrati surges to the far post looking to stab in a cross but Davies pokes it away for a corner. The set-piece is nodded on goal by Lauritsen but it is blocked.

SUB! Ndombele, who has been on the ground a lot this evening, comes off for Hojbjerg. Mourinho wants to kill this off.

GOAL!! Kane gets his second of the night and it was thoroughly deserved. IT was a horrendous mistake by Theophile-Catherine. Aurier's first-time cross is miskicked by the central defender and it lands straight into Kane's feet. He jinks to his right and slots it into the bottom corner. Kane now has his eighth European goal this season in just his fourth start.

YELLOW! For Ademi for his late challenge on Ndombele.

BIG SAVE! Bale's wonderful delivery with the outside of the right boot to the far post finds Bergwijn, but his sidefooted volley is parried away by Livakovic! That was a simply stunning cross from Bale.

SUBS! THREE Spurs changes. Kane, Lucas, Bergwijn come on for Lamela, Son and Alli. For Zagreb, Kastrati is on for Majer

Both teams are going to make substitutions with the first leg finely poised. For all of Spurs' possession dominance Zagreb have really dug in and are making their life tough.

A cross to the far post finds Petkovic but his shot skids wide and into the side netting. That was a warning from Zagreb who have done little without the ball up until that point in this second half. But as Spurs continue to commit more men forward they will feel they are still right in this.

Ndombele bundles his way all the way into the Zagreb box but eventually Leovac gets his body in the way of it to stop him from tapping home. His teammate Theophile-Catherine was tied up in knots!
