MAN UNITED V BARCA: THE STATS
  • Manchester United have only won one of their last 11 games against Barcelona in European competition (D5 L5), going winless in the last five (D1 L4). Their only victory in this run came in April 2008 in a Champions League semi-final, with Paul Scholes netting in a 1-0 win.

  • Rashford has averaged a goal every 76 minutes in the Europa League this season (four goals in total) – the best ratio of any player to have played at least 300 minutes in the competition this term.
  • Since the start of the 2019/20 season, Lewandowski has scored 38 goals in 32 appearances in major European competition – more than any other player in this period.

CAN BUSQUETS SHOW OUT IN FRONT OF THIS IN FORM UNITED SIDE?
This is the first time Barcelona will be without both Pedri and Gavi for a game since January 5th 2022 against Linares Deportivo in the Copa Del Rey, ending a run of 61 successive games with at least one of the Spanish duo participating.

BARCA COMING TO SPOIL THE PARTY
Barcelona built an eight-point lead over rivals Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table and have not lost in 18 matches.
Xavi's men have also won their last 11 matches in all competitions, and will be keen to silence the Theatre of Dreams as soon as possible.
History is also on their side, as United are winless in their last five against Barca, their last victory being all they way back in the 2007-08 Champions League semi-final.

NEW MAN UNITED UNDER TEN HAG
It's been a resurgence of the Manchester United of old under Ten Hag, and with the fans behind them, they'll surely believe that they can outscore Barca at home.
United have 14 wins and a draw to show from their last 15 home matches, but both Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid managed wins at Old Trafford last year.
Rashford is in the form of his life, having scored 24 goals in all competitions this season.
