Liverpool are saying goodbye to manager Jurgen Klopp at the end of this season but he and his players are trying to create something memorable in the German’s final campaign at Anfield. The Reds have already won the Carabao Cup, are top of the Premier League and currently in the latter stages of the FA Cup and UEFA Europa League. Alexis Mac Allister told TNT Sports the team want to make memories.

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has told TNT Sports in an exclusive interview that he and his team-mates want to “make this year something special” as they chase a historic quadruple.
The Reds have already won the Carabao Cup and they are in the latter stages of the FA Cup and UEFA Europa League, as well as being top of the Premier League.
It has led many fans to speculate about whether a historic quadruple could be on the cards in manager Jurgen Klopp’s final season in charge.
Speaking ahead of the Europa League clash against Sparta Prague, which is live on TNT Sports, Mac Allister said that all the games are important because of what the team wants to try and achieve.
“Very important, very important,” Mac Allister said when asked about the importance of the Sparta Prague game. “We said we want to make this year something special and we are still there.
“It’s still a long way to go but we already won one title and we are top of the Premier League, and the FA Cup and Europa League are definitely very important tournaments and we will do our best to win all of them."
Liverpool face Manchester City in a top-of-the-table showdown in the Premier League on Sunday, with a point separating the two teams, but Mac Allister insists they are fully focused on the trip to the Czech capital.
“We are very focused on the game against Sparta Prague, we know how important it is and we know that if we want to achieve something special we have to go step by step, game by game," he said.
“And that’s what we will try to do. But our focus is only on Sparta Prague and then on Manchester City.”

Liverpool have suffered with several key injuries this season, including to the likes of Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson, but one of the hallmarks of their campaign has been the new wave of young players Klopp has thrown into the first-team setup.
Mac Allister admitted that he has been impressed with the youngsters but he stressed that this wasn’t a surprise because of what he has already seen from them in training.
“Listen, we know their quality, they are very good players. They just need to get that confidence because they have the personality and qualities to do well and they’ve showed it," he said.
“So we’re very happy for them because they train very well, they work hard so it’s nice that they’ve had the possibilities to play and they’ve done very well.
“The moment that you see they can improve a lot, or they can do different things, you have to be there to help them but they are very smart, they know when they do the right things and when they make mistakes.
“So we just have to be there to help them.”
