Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the UEFA Super Cup between the Champions League winners Bayern Munich and serial Europa League champs, Sevilla. Kick-off is an hour away, and I'll grab the team news in a moment.

The free-kick is well worked, taken short to Gnabry, whose shot from inside the penalty area is blocked for another Bayern corner.

Navas tracks the run of Hernandez and fouls the Bayern man to concede a free-kick on the left, close to the corner flag.

Chances! Bono makes a save to deny Gnabry and then Sane's rebound is blocked by Carlos, as Bayern pile on the pressure but Sevilla continue to stand firm.

Double Sevilla sub: Torres replaces Rakitic, while En-Nestry comes on for de Jong.

Sane tries to bend one into the top corner from the edge of the box, but it's well, well wide. Kounde, meanwhile, goes into the book for a foul on Lewandowski a moment earlier.

Goal ruled out! Bayern work a lovely move to score their second - but it's not going to count! Sane chips a lovely pass to Lewandowski, who cushions it back to Muller and he unselfishly rolls it back to the striker to slot it home. But it goes to VAR and Lewandowski is adjudged to be just offside.

Save! Escudero rolls a dangerous ball across the face of goal. Sule gets there before de Jong but almost directs his clearance into his own net! Neuer makes the save to spare his blushes.

Kick-off! Sevilla get the second half underway!

Half-time: It's Bayern Munich 1-1 Sevilla at the break after an entertaining first half. The Liga side took an unexpected lead and although Leon Goretzka levelled the scores, Sevilla have more than held their own against the Champions League winners.

Yellow card! Jordan goes into the book for failing to step back as Bayern try to take a free-kick. Needless stuff.

Two minutes will be added on at the end of the first half.

Panic in the Bayern defence as a cross comes in from the left. Sule takes a swipe but fails to make the clearance. It bounces off de Jong and Sule can clear on the second attempt.

Lewandowski tries to bring the ball down from Sule's cross but Sevilla manage to scramble the danger clear.

And now the ball crashes into the head of referee Anthony Taylor!

Diego Carlos blocks Sane's shot - with his face! Ouch!

Goal ruled out! Sevilla think they have restored their advantage immediately, as de Jong scores with a cool finish, but he's adjudged to be offside.

GOAL! Bayern Munich 1-1 Sevilla (Goretzka): Normal service resumes as Bayern level the scores! And it's a fine goal too! Lewandowski is picked out with Muller's lovely pass with the outside of the boot. He cushions it into Goretzka who thumps it home from close range.
