GOAL LEEDS – Stunning stuff from McCormack - a simply ball from Diouf puts him away but he still has Caulker in front of him. However, he checks onto his left foot and curls a superb strike around Caulker and Friedel and into the top corner of the net.

Bale gets Tottenham's first attack of the half going but Sigurdsson is then defended well.

Now Vertonghen has to clean up his own mess after making a hash of a header back – looked like it hit his arm too but the Belgian gets away with it.

Tottenham give the ball away very cheaply and Varney is allowed to run into the box again – Huddlestone with a good sliding tackle though. Half-hearted appeals for a penalty but nothing wrong with that.

Bright start to the half from Leeds who win an early corner but Spurs defend it.

And the second-half is underway – no changes from either side.

As good a first half as Leeds could have hoped for - they're 1-0 up and looking comfortable. Every chance of yet another surprise result this weekend.

Bale intercepts the throw and hits on the break, but it's a poor ball in from the right and the whistle goes moments later.

Last chance of the half will fall to Leeds, McCormack beating Vertonghen on the left and earning a throw in right by the corner.

Nervous moments for Spurs there - two extra minutes before they can get back into the changing room to regroup.

Fabulous chance for Leeds! A long ball upfield is nodded on by Diouf and releases McCormack, who just has Friedel to beat - but the American keeper holds his ground and makes a fine save!

A couple of big tackles go in in quick succession, and both Sigurdsson and Parker get hurt. Sigurdsson goes off for treatment.

Spurs hit on the break only for Peltier to clear upfield - but Caulker is up the other end to do likewise.

It's walloped in by Peltier and Varney gets on the end of it, but Vertonghen steps up to clear.

Foul on Brown gives Leeds a free kick in the middle of the park. Chance for an attack.

Leeds fans still in fine voice, confident that their men will go into the break a goal to the good.

Clint Dempsey has a long-range dig from almost 30 yards, but it's straight at Ashdown and taken safely.

Half chance falls to Leeds as McCormack gets on to the end of a speculative long ball with a nice piece of contrl - he claims to have been fouled as he hit his weak shot well wide of the left upright, but ref not impressed.

Bale penalised again for a shove in the back of White - even more blatant this time, and the ref has a word even if he refuses to give out a yellow.

It's actually just a throw rather than a corner - taken by Caulker to Bale, but quickly lost.
