West Ham squander a great chance to put the game to bed as Noble heads back to Nolan, who fluffs his shot with Carlton Cole turning the ball wide from close range!

Noble does superbly to dispossess Van Persie in the West Ham half, and he charges down the right to take the ball clear.

Noble dinks a West Ham free-kick into the six-yard box and United clear to the edge of the box before Valencia takes the ball outwide.

Valencia gets to the right byline with a typically pacy run, but his delivery is awful and straight out of play.

Vidic is booked for a petulant reaction as he blasts the ball into the crowd in frustration.

Jarvis is hacked down by Vidic out on the left after keeping the ball in the corner, and that's a reckless challenge from the defender.

Nolan is furious with the referee after he is brought down on halfway and doesn't get a free kick.
