PRESTON HIT THE POST! Garner with a wonderful run to jink into the box, Jara tackles him but a team-mate gets in his way and Garner has a second bite but hammers it off the post! Forest are furious with themselves after that farce!

Gallagher mis-hits his finish from just outside the box, dragging it well wide.

De Vries flaps at the corner and Harding only half clears. Gallagher swings it back in but Moussi rises imperiously to head clear.

Garner wins a corner for Preston. Surely they'll snatch a leveller?

Forest finally get some joy going forward but Paterson gives it away. Billy Davies won't be too happy with this performance even if they win.

Gallagher spots De Vries off his line but the lob is telegraphed and the Forest keeper gets back to claim, despite his injury.

Garner goes down in the Forest box but it was just a slip and he doesn't appeal.

Forest can't get a touch - now Preston are close to 65% possession.

Jara with a lovely pass to release Paterson, but the young striker is offside.

Kilkenny shoots from range, deflected hugely but De Vries gets down to claim. It was Lascelles with the block previously, by the way.

HOW DID PRESTON NOT SCORE?! Welsh with a superb first-time half-volley that De Vries did really well to save, Davies should have tapped in the rebound but a block from a defender sends it just wide!

PRESTON SUB: Laird replaces Buchanan. Worry for Forest on De Vries as they've used all three subs!

De Vries has picked up a knock and needs on-pitch assistance as he is the keeper.

JUST WIDE BY WISEMAN! Fantastic low drive by the Gibraltar defender, rasping it low at an angle, beating De Vries.
