Rojo pings a diagonal ball towards Rooney at the back post. Greg Taylor misjudges the flight but the Man United man can't do anything with his header.
9'
Paddy McNair brings down Elliott and Cambridge have a free-kick 40 yards out, but can't do anything with it.
8'
United are looking to spread it wide and put crosses into the box. No problems so far for the Cambridge defenders and keeper Chris Dunn.
6'
Marcos Rojo pumps one across into the box but it's headed away by Josh Coulson. I imagine that's a sequence that will repeat itself many times tonight.
4'
After the dramatic start the game settles down into the kind of pattern everyone predicted - the hosts getting the ball down, spreading it and controlling possession.
3'
What a chance that was so early in the game. Elliott will be gutted not to have found the net - will that moment come back to haunt him?

WHAT A CHANCE! Cambridge almost take the lead after less than a minute! Daley Blind is robbed and Tom Elliott is clear through on goal but can only find the post!

Some numbers for you. 54 - league places between the two sides. 4805 - days since Luke Chadwick last started a game at Old Trafford.

Delayed kick-offs can cause havoc with warm-up routines. The home players are out there now going through their final preparations.

This is what poor Louis van Gaal, Man Utd boss, had to say: "Everything is against you at Manchester United and everything is in favour of the underdog. Also from you [media] but you shall not do it consciously but unconsciously - it’s human - I forgive you. In spite of all the criticism we have had from you and your colleagues, we are still in the FA Cup and a lot of teams are not, so I’m still happy that we can play this match." Everyone loves an underdog story, lighten up Louis.

Cambridge United boss Richard Money with a great metaphor: "If you go to Las Vegas and you play those fruit machines and you win the jackpot - that's probably what the draw was, in terms of Cambridge versus Man United. To get the replay probably means we bought a lottery ticket and won. Now we've bought a EuroMillions ticket. The percentage of chance diminishes because of it, but, because you've got a ticket, you do have a chance. That's how I feel. To go there with no belief would be dangerous, but we're well aware of the task in front of us. We're going to go there and try to play as well as we can and be as positive as we can."

BREAKING: Kick-off has been pushed back to 8.05pm due to delays for Cambridge fans travelling to Old Trafford.
19:25
This match came about because of Cambridge United's heroics at the Abbey stadium, where they held the 11-time FA Cup winners to a goalless draw. The footballing world, with the exception of the red half of Manchester, was on their side that day and that will no doubt be the case again today.
19:20
Who can blame them?
19:15
The Cambridge players will line up against the likes of Rooney, Van Persie, Di Maria and Mata. They won't be complaining about that. Louis van Gaal keeps Ander Herrera on the bench and leaves Adnan Januzaj out altogether. For Cambridge there's a start this time for former Manchester United man Luke Chadwick.
