A double from the Nigerian, a fantastic Morrison strike and a Berahino goal late on ensured an easy progression for Pulis' men, who continue their improvement under their new boss.

The game is petering out now, with the Baggies fans leaving, safe in the knowledge a quarter-final clash awaits.

Cristian Gamboa is on in the final few minutes, replacing Gardner. Three minutes of added time is signalled.

The Hammers are going in search of a consolation, but the home defence is standing firm. Have not given an inch all afternoon.

CLOSE! McManaman curls a sublime effort at goal, which beats Adrian but just flies past the post. Would have been the icing on the cake.

Ideye leaves to raptuous applause from all corners of the ground. Chris Baird comes on in his place. What a performance from the Baggies' rejuvenated hitman.

Ideye is still running the channels and causing problems. He wants his treble. Whatever Pulis has said to him is reaping rewards.

Morrison again has a punt from distance, unchallenged, but this time it is straight at Adrian. Far too much time and space for the Scot to strike the ball at goal.

Corner to West Brom causes more havoc in the box, but the Hammers just about get it clear. Really tough afternoon for the West Ham defence.

SAVE! Pulis' side look so dangerous every time they go forward. Ideye almost nets his hat-trick, but his flick from close range is well saved by Adrian, who has had a busy afternoon.

Callum McManaman comes on for the final 13 minutes, replacing the impressive Sessegnon.

SAVE! Adrian does brilliantly to keep the scoreline slightly respectable, tipping Dawson's fierce strike wide. Everyone fancies getting in on the act!

It goes from bad to worse for the Hammers. Poor defending again, but so clinical from Berahino, who has rarely been involved all match. Pulis can do no wrong at the moment.

GOAL! West Brom 4 West Ham 0. Berahino gets in on the act. Played in by Gardner, Berahino lashes the ball past Adrian from a very tight angle to net on his 100th appearance for the club.

RED CARD! Substitute Morgan Amalfitano stupidly gets himself dismissed. Was about to be booked for a late foul, but then he gets up, and pushes Brunt in the face, right under the referee's nose. So stupid.

Double change for the Hammers. Carlton Coles replaces Sakho, which proves unpopular with the Hammers travelling support, and Joey O'Brien replaces Song.

SAVE! What a save from Foster! Sakho is picked out brilliantly in the six-yard box, but Foster somehow gets a leg to the ball to partially keep the ball out, with McAuley sweeping up behind him, clearing off the line.

The Hammers are finally looking like troubling Foster. Plenty of crosses coming into the box, but the Baggies' central defensive pairing are dealing with them admirably.

The Ideye renaissance is the talking point here.
