The half-time whistle goes and Arsenal leave the pitch smiling thanks to that gift from David Meyler. It's 1-0 to the Gunners at the break.
45'
Hull don't deserve to go in at the break a goal down, and the animated Steve Bruce is urging his players forward to try and force an equaliser before the interval.
45'
Bruce gets on the end of a Huddlestone free-kick, but glances his header fractionally wide of the top corner.
45'
There will be five minutes of stoppage time at the end of the half following those two lengthy injury delays.
44'
Powell is back off the pitch for Hull, getting a new head bandage put on.
43'
42'
Gibbs strikes a lovely effort from distance, which has the keeper beaten but crashes back off the crossbar. Arsenal have played pretty atrocious football for much of this first half, but could easily be two up.
41'
That's a huge goal for Giroud, but what on earth was Meyler doing?! The defender didn't even look as he played a square ball across his own box, presumably to his keeper. It was suicidal defending and Hull have paid a heavy price.
40'
GOOOAAALLL!!! Olivier Giroud ends his goal drought with a simple finish through the legs of the keeper after a gift of a back-pass by Meyler put it on a plate for him. 1-0 Arsenal.

37'
Gibbs whips a cross into the box that Davies bundles behind. The game is opening up slightly, with long balls over the top the most dangerous attacking ploy for both teams.
36'
Campbell uses his pace to latch on to a long pass over the top of the Hull defence, but he handles as he tries to bring the ball under control.
35'
Hull are doing their best to take advantage of this ascendency, playing the ball over the top whenever possible to test Arsenal's makeshift back-four. Ospina comes charging out to punch clear on one notably dangerous occasion, but it's a rushed and flustered clearance - not unlike the Arsenal performance as a whole.
34'
Giroud joins Elneny in the book for a nasty studs-up challenge. Arsenal are rattled here.
33'
Mertesacker isn't going to be able to continue, as his right eye is beginning to close up due to the swelling. Monreal replaces him.
32'
Elneny is the first Arsenal player to go into the book for a shirt pull that halted a Hull counter-attack.
31'
Yep, I'm not sure what was wrong with that either.
30'
29'
Ospina pulls off a wonder-save to deny Meyler after a good old goalmouth scramble ended in the ball breaking to the midfielder on the edge of the box. Hull keep the move alive and bundle the ball into the back of the net, but the flag is up.
28'
Huddlestone's free-kick from deep is comfortably cleared by the Arsenal defence, but Hull immediately come back on the front foot. This is more like it!
