The coach believes Nastic's fate could have been avoided, had the club listened to his proposals at the turn of the year.
Flores said: "This was decided in March and not now. I asked for many things in January and it was not possible. Now the club is near relegation and for most people it comes as no surprise.
"Our obligation in the final games of the season is to play with total professionalism and pride."
Asked on what his future holds, Flores said: "When the season finishes I will take a week to examine my options for next year. I haven't received any propositions as yet."
With four games to go, Nastic prop up the bottom of the table, ten points adrift of Athletic Club who occupy the last position of safety.
