Former Real Mallorca president Mateu Alemany has taken back control of the financially troubled La Liga club just over three months after selling his 93 per cent stake to a group headed by the Marti Mingarro brothers.
"We are determined that these three months will be forgotten as quickly as possible by our fans," Alemany said.
"We want to dedicate ourselves to stabilising institutional issues and the financial situation," he said, adding that a new management board would be announced in coming days.
Mallorca are sixth in the La Liga standings after 10 games.
