Isco signs for Malaga

The striker was born just outside Malaga but came through the youth system at Valencia, making his debut last season.

Despite his relative inexperience, Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini has seen enough potential in Isco, 19, to sign him up for five years at Los Boquerones.

Isco said of his new team: "The club are making an incredible project that was unthinkable a few years ago. I'm very happy to have the chance to return to my home and proud because they have opted for a young player."

Isco added that his fellow summer signings, which include Ruud van Nistelrooy and Jeremy Toulalan, "are an example that what they (Malaga) are doing is something very big".

A buy-out clause in his contract has been set at €20m.
