Khedira joins team-mates

Khedira flew in to Los Angeles with Raul Albiol, Sergio Canales, Rafael van der Vaart and Alvaro Arbeloa and then declared his desire to beat Barcelona at the Camp Nou this season.

"I think our dream is to win at Barcelona this season," he said.

"I'm looking forward to getting to know (Jose) Mourinho and the rest of the team."

Khedira played a major part in Germany's progress to the World Cup semi-finals which helped seal his move from Bundesliga side Stuttgart.

He has 12 caps and scored his first international goal in the third-place playoff win against Uruguay in South Africa.
