Fernandez caps a long, patient build-up by Malaga with a crisp finish. Duda sweeps the ball towards Juanmi at the far post, who cushions the ball to the unmarked waiting Fernandez, who takes a touch and drives home from 10 yards.

Malaga should really consider not giving away free-kicks on the edge of the box. Jeffren fires another one high (and this time wide as well). One of these will go in soon if Malaga aren't careful.

Malaga clear the corner.

Barca win another free kick 25 yards out on the opposite flank and this time Thiago goes for goal, but it flicks off the wall and bounces out for a corner.

Jeffren audaciously goes for goal with a venomous left-footed drive from way out wide on the left wing and it flys just inches over the bar. That would have burst the net if it had gone in; tremendous effort.

Barca win a free kick on the right wing and Jeffren looks like he will cross it in...

Malaga holding their line well and pressing up the field to squeeze Barca deeper than they'd like. It's at times like this they could do with Xavi to unlock something. Barca beginning to take control though.

Barca struggling to get into their stride at the moment. Passes are going astray all over the pitch. Guardiola looks perturbed.

Malaga clear their lines at the corner and push up the pitch. Danger over for now.

Finally some positive play from Barca and it comes courtesy of Jeffren, who beats two Malaga players as he motors down the right wing. He wins a corner for his troubles.

Bojan, captain for today, is trying to rev his players up. They look half asleep at the moment.

Thankfully, not much happened. Malaga still dominating and Pinto has been called into action a few times. This is a Barca B side, and it looks it at the moment.

Chances aplenty for Malaga here as Fernandez tests Pinto with a low drive, which spills out for a corner.
