Lovely piece of thinking from Ronaldo. Just fails to pick out the run of Adebayor and Benzema who were lining up at the back post.

Good piece of defending by Silva to deal with the corner from Alonso. Almeria can't get out here.

Lovely sweeping move from the home side sees Benzema slip in Ronaldo on the run. Narrow angle and Esteban does enough to turn the shot behind.

Crusat comes up with a late challenge on Pepe and Real have a free-kick.

Real dominant as you would expect in a home match. Lovely ball by Alonso as he picked out Ronaldo from 40 yards away. Real continue to push and probe.

Benzema on the charge there for Real. Great run and shot from the French striker, but he has knocked that shot over the bar.

Almeria with only six wins from the season. Whatever happens tonight, they will finish a forgettable season at the bottom of La Liga.
