Falcao wins the corner off of Pedro Bigas, but Diego's resulting delivery is headed clear in a crowded Mallorcan penalty box.

Falcao gets his head to a cross from the left, but he only manages a deft touch on the ball, and Dudu comes off his line to gather.

Diego Godin plays the one-two with Tiago and on the return, Godin goes down in the box, but no penalty is awarded. On second viewing, it looks like a dive.

Silvio's cross from the right is comfortably plucked out of the air by Dudu Aouate.

Sergio Tejera hits the ball wide of Courtois' near post after striking from the left channel.

The game has failed to really kick into life since the penalty in the second minute, Atletico struggling to test Dud Aouate and Mallorca appearing quite happy to sit back, soak up the pressure and then hit the home side on the break.

With Atletico positioned high up the pitch, Mallorca look to break but Emilio Nsue runs out of space when darting down the right.

Dudu Aouate elects to punch clear a hanging Diego cross from the left - Atletico's link-up play has looked easy on the eye, but they have failed in landing the killer blow once they get into the attacking third.

Falcao crosses from the right, but Diego's attempt to go for the extravagant overhead kick is a poor one. Mario Suarez then appears to catch Sergio Tejera with a high boot.

Arda Turan attempts to play an incisive through-ball into the path of Diego, but the pass is cut out. Diego then proceeds to hit the ground after appearing to be obstructed in his forward movement.

Better from Atletico as Silvio links up with Falcao, with the former having cut in off the right flank. However, the right-back drags his angled shot wide of the Mallorca goal.

Falcao prods the ball left to Diego, but his effort from the edge of the penalty box is always travelling high over Dudu Aouate's goal.

Falcao collects the ball and cuts in on his left, but his shot is charged down and that allows Mallorca to recover possession.

Tiago links up with Diego, but then proceeds to drag his shot from just outside the Mallorca penalty box wide. He claims a deflection for a corner, but a goal-kick is given.

Mallorca's Sergio Tejera uses an outstretched leg to prod the ball towards the Atletico goal, but it's a comfortable save for Courtois.

Mallorca's Gonzalo Castro does brilliantly to send a deep cross into the Atletico box but a tame Emilio Nsue header is then collected by Courtois.

Filipe Luis and Diego combine but the latter cannot keep control of the ball and Dudu Aouate is out quick to gather.

Cross from the left is over Arda Turan's head and the ball goes out for a Mallorca goal-kick.

Atletico have started to get into their stride, but a cross from the right only manages to find Mallorca defender Pablo Cendros who slices the clearance into his 'keepr Dudu Aouate's hands.

Free-kick to Mallorca, following a high boot, and the home side have not settled well here.
