Bilbao work a throw-in short and it's a good play, several one-touch passes end with Muniain clean through to the right of the near post. He tries to square for Torquero instead of firing at goal himself, and Valencia get it away.

Bilbao look dangerous going forward but Valencia snuff it out and counter. Almost a role reversal of the rest of the game! Adruiz heads the cross from the right flank wide of goal.

FOUR minutes of stoppage time. Plenty of time for a dramatic late winner.

What a ball into the box from Banega, faking a cross-fielder from right to left before sliding it through to the striker who found the inside of the far post from a very tight angle despite pressure from his marker and the outrushing keeper. He's becoming a modern day Houdini for Valencia!

Piatti attempts to weave a little magic out on the left but eventually the third defender gets the ball away. He's not had a ton of fun against the towering Bilbao back line tonight.

Bilbao have gone 18 games since their last clean sheet. The all-time La Liga record is nineteen. If they can keep Valencia out for six more minutes plus stoppage time, they'll break the duck and dodge equalling an unwanted accomplishment.

Herrera wins a free-kick inside his own half when sandwiched between Piatti and Banega.

Adruiz fires into the side netting from a right angle on the right when Piatti was waiting at the far post for the square pass and tap into an empty net. Wasteful.

Miguel's low cross in search of Soldado is blocked and beaten away.

Muniain goes down rather easily under pressure from Banega, only to catch an accidental boot to the face from the Argentine in the process.

Victor Ruiz, still up from the free-kick, is wasteful from 20 yards.

Adruiz comes on for Jonas in the final change either side can make before the free-kick is headed clear by Torquero

Next booking of the game goes to Iturraspe for a late challenge which gives Valencia a free-kick on the right wing.

Muniain is set up by Torquero to beat three only to play himself into a difficult angle and miss the target. He's really haunting the home side at the moment though.

Jonas attempts to latch onto a ball into the left-hand side of the area but is happy to back down from the 50-50 looming and see the ball cleared for a corner.
