Time is ran out by Villarreal and they get what was an ultimately comfortable victory.

Mallorca with another chance, but it's hacked clear just in time. A Mallorca freekick follows and it sails well long for a goal kick.

Three minutes of stoppage time to be played, but Villarreal are still hunting down the ball Barcelona style.

Zapata clears off the line after Alfaro beats the goalkeeper to a long ball. It is bouncing into the net, but Zapata races after it and clears over his head just before it can cross the line.

Senna misplaces a pass and puts Villarreal on the back foot. Cendors whips in a dangerous nearpost cross and it's just about cut out.

Alfaro gets his shot on target, but Lopez gets down quickly and holds onto the ball.

Mallorca win a freekick 30 yards from goal...

De Guzman plays in Ruben down the inside left channel, but his effort is weak and it dribbles out at the near post for a goalkick.

A late challenge from Senna on the helfway line, but Mallorca aren't trying very hard to actually try and score a goal.

Villarreal Sub: Nilmar is replaced by Ruben with 10 minutes to go.

Musacchio commits the foul, but a Mallorca shot following the freekick is well over.

Rossi again finds himself wide in the area with the keeper bearing down, but this time Aouate blocks the shot with his feet.

Rossi gets the ball just outside the area, shifts it a foot and unleashes a shot that Aouate tips over the bar for a corner.

Alfaro tries to slip a ball in to Nsue, but noone anticipates it and it runs through to the gaolkeeper.

Nsue thinks he's scored, but his header is ruled out for offside and it was the right call; he's about a yard off.

Castro breaks down the inside-left channel and his excellent left footed strike is tipped over at the near post.

Mallorca Substitution: Aki comes off and is replaced by Castro.

Villarreal Substitution: Valero is replaced by Camunas

Rossi is through and he turns on to his favoured left foot from quite a tight angle. He could play in someone else, but with the keeper rushing out he tries to curve it round him. Not enough accuracy though as Aouate palms away.

Senna with a smart reverse ball into Rossi's feet, who keeps the ball moving to the right. Mallorca break at pace, Alfaro gets played into the box and he shifts the ball to the right of the defender, but his shot ios dragged just wide of the near post.
