Carlo Ancelotti is set to be without another big-name player after Vinicius Jr was ruled out until the New Year at least until the New Year with a hamstring injury. The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Real Madrid so far this season after scoring six goals in 13 appearances across all competitions, joining the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and Eder Militao on the sidelines.

Real Madrid have confirmed that Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr is expected to be out for at least two months with a hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old was forced off in Brazil's 2-1 World Cup qualifying defeat to Colombia on Thursday, after providing the assist for Gabriel Martinelli's opener.
He was subsequently ruled out of the Selecao's next qualifier against Argentina on Wednesday, with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirming that the forward had returned to Spain for treatment.
Speaking after the match in quotes published by ESPN, the Brazilian felt it was a recurrence of the same problem which kept him out for a month between August and September.
He said: "I think it's the same injury as last time.
"I got a knock, and I felt it [again] later. I'll have tests, to see what it is."
However, a statement from Real Madrid confirmed that Vinicius had suffered a tear in the muscle, and read as follows: “After the tests carried out today on our player Vinicius Jr. by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a tear in the femoral biceps with involvement of the distal tendon in his left leg. Evolution pending.”
Reports of the severity of the injury started to surface, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that the Brazilian is unlikely to return until the New Year.
Vinicius has been in fine form for Los Blancos this season, after scoring six goals and claiming four assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.
This included a brace in a 5-1 win over Valencia before the international break – a result which left Carlo Ancelotti’s side second in La Liga and two points adrift of Girona.
The absence of Vinicius is the latest player on an ever-growing injury list for the Italian, with Eduardo Camavinga (torn knee ligament), Kepa (thigh), Aurelien Tchouameni (foot) Thibaut Courtois, and Eder Militao (both ACL), all ruled out.
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham was forced to withdraw from the England squad to face Malta and North Macedonia due to a shoulder injury.
