Leeds, meanwhile, are without Raphinha, who went off at the weekend, and Bamford is still injured. Otherwise, Cody Drameh makes his debut at right-back, replacing Shackleton, with Cooper and Klich also dropping out. Roberts, Phillips - back from injury - and Forshaw come in.

Arsenal retain three of the team that won so well at the weekend - the two centre-backs and Smith Rowe, who's playing beautifully at the moment. Otherwise, though, it's a second team, with only Pepe seriously pushing for the first XI - though hopefully Martinelli gets back to where he was before getting injured.

Our teams arrive at this tie in very different states of mind. Arsenal are on the up, improving - thanks in part to a friendly recent fixture list - and with their young players firing. Leeds, on the other hand, have endured a miserable start to the season and desperately need something good to happen. We shall see!
