    CAN LIVERPOOL FINISH THE JOB?
The visitors only have themselves to blame for their failure to take an aggregate lead to the Emirates, having squandered numerous opportunities to score at Anfield. Jota, Roberto Firmino and Takumi Minamino were off their game and, despite racking up 17 shots in total, Liverpool could only put one on target.
Klopp has reshuffled his forward line this evening, with Minamino making way for teenager Kaide Gordon. Firmino and Jota keep their starting spots but, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane at the Africa Cup of Nations, Klopp has limited options up front.

    NO XHAKA FOR ARSENAL
Following Granit Xhaka's last-man lunge on Diogo Jota at Anfield last week, Arsenal had to play over 70 minutes – including injury time – with 10 men. They did surprisingly well, hanging on for grim death even if they benefitted from Liverpool's wasteful finishing.
With the north London derby contentiously postponed at the weekend – Liverpool have caused their fair share of Covid controversy, likewise, having succeeded in having this game put back only for Jurgen Klopp to admit they had been beset by false positives – Arsenal have managed to get a team together tonight, thankfully. Albert Sambi Lokonga will fill in for Xhaka, with Arsenal otherwise fielding a strong side.
