Modric plays through Benzema, who takes the ball round Munua but can't squeeze a shot past Juanfran. However, he's incorrectly flagged as offside.

Statistics show Madrid have had 72% of possession, yet the only stat that matters is that Levante lead 1-0.

It was the first time Levante had got bodies up to support Acquafresca in the whole match, with Pedro Rios passing inside off the right flank to Michel who fired in off Pepe. Levante have hardly crossed the halfway line!

GOAL! Real Madrid 0-1 Levante (30 mins - Michel). Incredibly, Levante have taken the lead with their first real chance of the match. Michel's finish looked to get a deflection off Pepe on its way in.

Considering how much influence Modric has had in this game so far it's hard to believe he was named La Liga's worst signing of the season in a newspaper poll earlier this season.

Benzema smashes a shot from 16 yards against Vyntra when he appeared to have options left and right of him. Kaka is telling him exactly that.

Vyntra wins the header from the deep corner but Acquafresca is offside in trying to get a touch at the back post. Unlike the Higuain call, this one looks to be a correct one.

Ruben Garcia puts some pressure on Pepe in his own box and the centre back is forced to conceded a corner.
