Good evening and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of the Spanish league clash between Real Sociedad and Real Madrid. We'll bring you all the action and goals as they go in at the Anoeta. Kick-off: 19:00.

In Ronaldo's absence Real Madrid also need Bale to step up. He's had a good first season, scoring a goal every other game on average, but he needs to be the main man for Real Madrid here.

Angel surges up the left wing once again and picks a fantastic pass into Elustondo, who takes the ball in his stride. He breaks into the box but after winding up the shot Ramos comes across to make the block.

Ronaldo isn't the only who is missing for Real Madrid tonight. Marcelo isn't playing, with Nacho coming into the left back spot.

Real Madrid are just starting to calm the game down, but Real Sociedad are still pressing the ball very hard and are keeping their own tempo quick whenever they win the ball back.

Isco played very well against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League during the week. The confidence seems to be flowing back to him and he'll need to turn in a big performance tonight. Real Madrid need him.

It looks like Isco is playing on the left, with Bale on the right and Benzema through the centre. Of course, Ancelotti is without Ronaldo for this game. We've been told that he's not 100 %.

Sociedad have started this game really well. They're a difficult team to beat at the Anoeta. Real Madrid have a tough task on their hands here tonight.

Angel plays a wonderful pass down the left side for Vela to run on to. However, Ramos comes across to make the challenge and does so, putting the ball out for a corner kick, which eventually comes to nothing.

So it's do or die time for Real Madrid tonight. Atletico and Barca have already won today, which has left Los Blancos six points off the top. They need a win here.
