On the most part Real Sociedad have dealt quite well wih the threat of Messi, but there's only so much you can do when he gets into that mode of beating opposition players for fun.

Messi beats one, beats two, and then three, but in the end the little Argentine is crowded out by about three Real Sociedad players. That would have been better than the goal against Bayern Munich.

This has been a stubborn performance from Real Sociedad so far. Their offside trap is working and are very quick to blow Barcelona efforts on goal. Moyes has his team well drilled.

Real Sociedad somehow survive again! A freekick falls back to Rafinha about eight yards out after a header by Bartra at the back post, but the opposition defence throws bodies in front of the strike.

Alves puts in the cross from the right side, but the pass is weak and Martinez can make the simple clearance under very little pressure. Alves was fantastic against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Rafinha breaks through the Real Sociedad midfielder and looks to play a pass into the final third, but the youngster gets his angles all wrong and Adriano doesn't receive the intended pass.

There is an air of frustration creeping around the Camp Nou now. They have seen their team dominate the game, but fail to take the lead against Moyes' resolute Sociedad outfit.
