Bizarre scenes as Isco walks off having been shown a second yellow card, with the home crowd singing his name. He might be an opponent tonight, but Malaga still remembers the playmaker.

That should have been a goal! Casillas makes a good save from a freekick, but can only direct it back into the centre of the box. Yet Angeleri somehow scoops over with the goal gaping!

SENT OFF! Isco (Real Madrid), The playmaker picks up a second yellow card and he will have an early bath at his former club. He looked to win the ball cleanly.

Bale actuall played better in the first half, but that was an exceptional finish from the Welsh winger. The counter attack was rapid and concise from Real Madrid and they made Malaga pay.

This has been another poor performance from Casillas. In this form you have to wonder how long he can keep Navas out of the starting lineup. Will he be dropped after this display?

Casillas gets away with another one! The Real Madrid goalkeeper lets a relatively tame shot slip from his grasp, with Illarremandi getting across to stick it behind for a corner kick.

YELLOW CARD: Marcelo (Real Madrid)

Ronaldo will be very disappointed that he hasn't found the net from such range, but that save from Kameni was the pick of the bunch tonight - and the bunch was looking pretty good up until that stop!

Absolutely ridiculous save from Kameni! Slack defending gives Ronaldo the chance to apply a finish, unchallenged, from 12 yards, but he keeper goes the right way and makes the stop!

The Malaga fans insist that their team should have been awarded a penalty kick from a push on Weligton in the box by Ramos, but there was nothing in it. Weligton was actually the one fouling Ramos!

And so the goalscorer comes off for midfielder Illarramendi. Is that a change designed to give Real Madrid more control in the centre of midfield? Does Ancelotti just want to see this game out now?

Real Madrid have passed up so many chances that they now found themselves in an uncomfortable position. Malaga are very much still in this gameand have been growing into this second half.
