This is turning into a bit of a scrap now. First Kovacic hacks down Vietto, then Arbeloa makes sure that the young Atletico Madrid forward hits the ground. Can Atletico create something from this freekick?

It didn't look like there was much of a way back into this match for Atletico Madrid, but we're now set for a grandstand finish here. Both teams will want to take three points from this one.

Jackson did really well in creating that goal. He surged down the left wing, beat his man before crossing into the box. Griezmann touched it away from Navas and Vietto finished it off.

GOOD CHANCE FOR VIETTO! Carrasco swings a deep cross to the back post, where the Argentina is lurking. But he can't direct his header on target. Should he have knocked it back for Jackson?

That was tame from Modric. Real Madrid had produced a good shooting opportunity on the edge of the box, but the effort from the Croatian midfielder was never going to trouble Oblak.

Real Madrid sub: Karim Benzema OFF, Mateo Kovacic ON.

This has been a strange performance from Ronaldo. He has been a non-entity. Oblak hasn't had to make a save from the supposed best player in the world. Not on this showing.

Vietto and Jackson have the chance to fire off shots at goal, but the first one is charged down and the second one is collected by Navas in the Real Madrid goal. Atletico are pressing though.

This has been an unusual performance from Atletico Madrid, in that they have been really poor from set pieces. The deliveries from both sides of the pitch simply haven't been good enough.
