I think the goalkeeper was aware of Ronaldo's presence there. Benzema crossed the ball into the area looking for the Portuguese, but Adan came out to unconvincingly punch out.

Very clever ball into the box from Marcelo! He was looking for Benzema with a pass with the outside of his right foot, but it was slightly behind the French striker and Betis make the interception.

Pepe Mel must be pleased with how his side has responded to going a goal down so early in the match. Real Madrid have dominated the ball, but haven't created too much up front.
