FULL TIME: Atletico 3-0 Osasuna. Despite two late penalty misses Atletico Madrid claim a comfortable 3-0 win that tightens their grip on third place in La Liga and sets them up nicely for the midweek clash against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. It was never in any real doubt.

This win will put Atletico Madrid 10 points off the top of the Liga table. The middle part of the season really cost them. Had they tightened up their form at that stage they might have been challengers.

That change suggests that Torres will start for Atletico Madrid at the King Power Stadium next week. Simeone opted to field the veteran striker for the first leg against Leicester as well.
