That's the first chance that Barcelona have had this evening and Messi took it. You wouldn't expect anything else. He is in fantastic form at the moment. The best in the world?

Barcelona haven't acually created much yet, for all that they have completely dominated the possesion. But they will keep patient and the opportunities will come for them. They just have to wait.

Messi has essentially been given a free role by Lucho for this game this evening. 10 minutes have been played at the Camp Nou and he has popped up on the left, right, through the middle...

Real Madrid face Deportivo La Coruna later this evening, which means a victory here for Barcelona would put them three points clear at the top of the table. That would pile the pressure on Real.

This has been complete control from Barcelona at the start of this match. Osasuna are back in their own defensive third, with the home side pressing and probing on the edge of the box.

Of course, Osasuna are rock bottom of the table, with nine points between them and second bottom. They are doomed and there's a sense they are already preparing for the second tier.

Mascherano has come into the team. He has fallen out of favour this season, with Umtiti taking his place, but the Argentine is playing in the Barcelona back three for this game tonight.

Indeed, Lucho has made five changes to his team for this one, but there's still a place for Messi. Suarez has been given a night off, with Neymar still suspended from first team action.

Lucho has madea number of changes to his starting lineup for this match, resting several players after the 3-2 win over Real Madrid in El Clasico at the weekend. It's a second string.
